Weekend Meals and Family Time 25-27 May 2019
I can't believe that we have another Bank Holiday weekend. It seems so soon, but I love that we do because for our family, the weekends are a chance for us all to relax, to hang out together and reconnect and the activities we take part in and the food we eat during this time normally reflects that. and having a Bank Holiday means we are able to spend an extra day together, so it's way more fun.
This weekend we're having;
Saturday Lunch - Picnic
Saturday Evening Meal - Steak... because we didn't eat it yesterday
We're going for a nice long walk on the weekend, not too sure where it is going to be because we are all feeling quite tired and so aren't sure if we'll want to do the really long walk or just a "normal" long walk. We'll decide in the morning depending on when we all wake up!
Sunday Lunch - Roast Chicken with Cubed Potatoes
Sunday Evening Meal - Pancakes
Sunday is going to be a chance for us all to work on personal projects, once we get back from Church. Dan Jon has some Scriptures he wants to memorise, called the Articles of Faith and Top Ender is helping a younger friend with her Personal Progress, and Flyfour and I are enjoying working on our Family History together, but this is all before everyone disappears to their own favourite spot to do their own Sabbath Day things.
Bank Holiday Monday Lunch - Picnic
Bank Holiday Monday Evening Meal - Home Made Pizza
Bank Holiday Monday is going to have us all going on another walk, again we have an idea about where we are going, but it depends upon what time it is that we are all awake and up and ready to go!
So, that's what we are up to this weekend, how about you?
