What We Are Eating W/C 19th October 2019
Oh my goodness! Do you know how good it is to write a blog post? I have honestly been sitting at home at times this last week, with my fingers over the keyboard and the words just wouldn't come out. Normally they come out at a million miles an hour and I can't quite keep up, but this has helped me to actually write and I'm hoping that now my other blog posts will come out! Keep an eye out this week!
Last Saturday we had a lush Nando's with the family, and as Flyfour loves it and we love Flyfour, we decided that we'd have a homemade version this week. Luckily Flyfour is fab at cooking a fact Nando's and everyone is happy to eat it!
I may have accidentally manipulated Flyfour into coming with me to the supermarket this week and as I hadn't decided what we'd have for our meal on Sunday, we stood in the middle of the supermarket and decided what we'd have together. Actually, thinking on it I think I may have accidentally manipulated him into this too...
Top Ender had wanted Pancakes for breakfast this last week and so I thought I'd help make her dreams come true, by making them for our evening meal. I thought that tonight, being Family Home Evening, would be great as it'll also be our treat for the evening.
Who doesn't love Pizza?
Weird people that's who.
Since my soup maker died, I haven't made any soup and I want soup, in fact I want my homemade tomato soup, so guess what I'm going to attempt to make this evening without my super soup maker?
Yup, don't worry I have a couple of cans hanging about just in case it doesn't work out.
I have wanted this at least twelve times in the last two weeks, but for one reason or another, I've just not had a chance to make it, eat it or even dream about it! So I'm making sure we eat it tonight and I'm going to probably make a little extra so I can have it at lunch tomorrow. I love pesto spaghetti!
When I decided to make Pancakes earlier in the week, I decided to have Waffles tonight too, it's almost the same recipe and the children love them and if I'm being honest, it's a bit of a treat for making it to the end of the half term!
Saturday - Fake Nando's
