Sweet Sixteen
I almost can't believe that Top Ender will turn 16 today.
It doesn't seem true, it feels like we skipped a few years and suddenly ended up with an almost adult living in the house with us, but one that also needs reminding to put her plate in the dishwasher and to close the bathroom door.
Top Ender has plans for today.
Other than having a meal out and going shopping for some clothes and some Dr. Martens, she is also planning on signing up for a Costa Card, a Boots Card, a Waterstones card... well basically any card that she can sign up for now that she's 16.
It's going to be a long shopping trip.
I have to say that we are so lucky to have been blessed with Top Ender in our lives.
She is quiet and unassuming.
She is talented and willing to share her talents with others.
She is assured in herself and in her beliefs.
She is well-read and well-watched too.
She is determined and focused.
She is beautiful.
She is amazing.
She is 16 today and loved so much, by so many and I for one can't wait to see what else she becomes as she continues to travel down the path of life.
