I am so lucky

I am so lucky.

I never thought that I would have a job that I enjoy as much as I do the one I currently have.

I never thought that I would have friends that make me laugh as much as my friends do.

I never thought that I would wake up each morning eager to go to work.

I never thought that I would have a regular opportunity to hang out with children and enjoy it as much as I do.

I never thought that I would have to be reminded to go home several times a week, because I've become so involved in what I'm doing.

I never thought that I would have hobbies that I am enjoy participating in.

I never thought that I would be considered a good person.

I never thought that I would have opportunities open to me, that are almost too good to believe.

And yet, this is exactly what I have.

I am so lucky to live the life I never thought I would have.
